‘will Consider Pension Plan Proposal For Old Advocates’ | Kanpur News


Kanpur: Deputy chief minister Brijesh Pathak on Wednesday assured advocates that the government would consider the pension plan proposal for old advocates.
A delegation of advocates, led by Adhivakta Kalyan Sangharsh Samiti, met with the deputy chief minister and felicitated him for playing a key role in hiking maturity amount of Adhivakta Kalyan Nidhi from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
Adhivakta Kalyan Sangharsh Samiti convenor Ravindra Sharma informed the deputy CM that as there is no social security for elderly advocates therefore the government should consider a pension plan for them. He handed over a memorandum of the proposal to Pathak. The government would consider the demand and do something for them in this regard, the deputy CM said. Advocates Satish Tripathi, Sanjeev Kapoor, Shivam Gangwar and Pranveer Singh were in delegation.
