Two Fall Off Elevated Highway As Car Hits Bike, Die | Kanpur News

Kanpur: Two persons, including a minor, died by falling off the elevated highway near Simragaon in Yashodanagar area of city on Thursday after a car hit their bike.
Saransh (25), a native of Assam -Guwahati and Rishabh Mishra (15) of Karrahi area, riding on the bike fell on the bike rider commuting on the service lane of the highway 20 feet below.
All three were taken to the police hospital, where Saransh and Rishabh were declared brought dead by the doctor. The police have taken one person in custody for further investigation.
Virat Nagar police outpost in-charge Neeraj Rajput told that the accident happened as the tyre of the car got burst due to which the Bharat Vijay Singh, driving the car, lost control and hit the bike after dashing into the road divider. Singh is JE in PWD department in Akbarpur.
One of the deceased Saransh had come to his married sister’s place in Karrahi. “As he was reeling under some kind of ear complication, he along with a local youth Rishabh had gone to purchase medicine from a nearby market on a two-wheeler, when the accident took place,” said the official
The car and the damaged bikes have been seized by the police, he said, adding, “Further action will be taken on the basis of the complaint.”
