Trident surges on raising Rs 500 million through Commercial Paper


Trident is currently trading at Rs. 53.80, up by 1.30 points or 2.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 52.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 52.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 55.10 and Rs. 52.55 respectively. So far 7227790 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 59.90 on 29-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 9.69 on 31-Dec-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 55.50 and Rs. 49.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 27569.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.07% and 23.91% respectively.

Trident has raised Rs 500 million through allotment of the Commercial Paper on December 30, 2021. Maturity date of said Commercial Paper will be March 02, 2022.  The said Commercial Paper is being listed on BSE.

Trident is one of the largest exporters of home textile products from India. The company exports to more than 100 countries across 6 continents.
