Kanpur: The Agnipath scheme will give a new dimension to the future of the youth, but they are being misled and are protesting in confusion, said Union minister Giriraj Singh.
The minister who was reviewing implementation of the Central and the state government schemes here on Friday said the government should take action against those who are misleading the youth.
Earlier, while inspecting the tool room, the Union Minister told the officials that better operation of the tool room was necessary by holding constant dialogue with the entrepreneurs. He expressed displeasure for the delay caused in starting the tool room.
“The centre in which an investment of more than Rs 100 crore has been made has not yet been made operational is a serious issue”, he said and asked the official concerned to prepare a green energy project for the tool room centre and implement it at the earliest.
Instructing the officials to hold meetings with the entrepreneurs at the earliest, the minister told them to take their suggestions and then implement the works after making changes and added that the skill and manpower requirement of entrepreneurs should be taken care of. He also took a lot of information from the officers about the total number of industrial units and the number of courses being run there. Singh directed the officials to hold a meeting with the entrepreneurs between June 22-23 and start work.
