Merge Jd(u) With Rjd,jagadanand Tells Nitish | Patna News

PATNA: RJD state president Jagadanand Singh on Thursday created a political stir by inviting chief minster Nitish Kumar to join hands and merge his JD(U) with RJD. Singh also said Nitish should accept Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s leadership.
The statement was made before Tejashwi attended the iftar hosted by the JD(U) minority cell on Thursday and two days before RJD supremo Lalu Prasad is expected to reach Patna.
While talking to media, Singh could be heard saying that the mistakes committed by Nitish could not be forgiven.
“But if Nitish acknowledges his mistakes and is ready to overcome them, then he can be accepted in a socialist family,” he said.
However, JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar said Singh should first clarify as to whose ideology and socialism he was talking about.
“He talks about Lohia, Karpoori Thakur and Jayprakash Narayan. He should tell us, which of these leaders had incorporated corruption and dynasty politics in their ideology and in which book these two things are written,” Neeraj asked.
