Kanpur: Uday Pratap Singh’s five wicket haul helped Cantt Lions beat KGSC by 41 runs and moved into semi-finals of Prem Chandra Shukla memorial cricket tournament being played at Kanpur South ground.
Putting into bat, Cantt Lions posted a total of 7 for 277 runs with the help of Manik Maurya and Shubham Rajput’s half centuries. Thereafter, they restricted KGSC to 236 runs. Rahul Yadav (87) and Pranshu (90) were the main scorers. Their 8 batsmen could not reach double figures and 4 of them could not open their accounts. Uday Pratap scalped five wickets for 40 runs.
