Kanpur Metro Staff Reunites 5-year-old With His Uncle | Kanpur News


KANPUR: In an exemplary work, the Kanpur Metro staff reuniuted a five-year-old boy with his uncle after he was mistakenly left behind on the platform.
On Wednesday evening, at around 7:30pm, Metro security personnel found a five-year-old boy strolling alone at the platform of IIT-Kanpur Metro Station.
The vigilant security guard spoke to the child, after which it was learned that he was travelling with his uncle and at the last station his uncle got off the train while he was left on the train itself. The security guard took the child to station controller Chandrashekhar Patel who shared the information in the Metro System.
Shortly after, the child’s uncle Tauheed Khan, a resident of Baraun, district Farrukhabad reached there. He said that he got down at Kalyanpur, but his nephew was left behind.
After verifying the identities with Aadhar Card and testimony of the child, the boy was handed over to his uncle. tnn
