Kanpur: Former district president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha – Harshit Srivastava alias Lala, who was sent to jail recently for posting objectionable posts on the Prophet, is now getting death threats on the phone after coming out of jail.
The threat has been made from a Pakistani number and the accused is also threatening them by putting a message on WhatsApp. Harshit has lodged a complaint with the police in the matter. Police have initiated investigations.
ADCP West Brijesh Kumar Srivastava said that investigation is being done on the basis of a complaint in the matter. “Some numbers have been given, information is being collected with regard to the same,” ADCP added.tnn
