Kanpur: The Custodian’s Office of Enemy Property in Kanpur has ordered fresh investigation of four of the 86 properties involved in the process of declaring enemy property.
In the investigation, it has been asked to tell whether there has been illegal sale of these properties or not. If so, when and how did it happen? The properties which have been asked to be investigated are said to be of Pakistani nationals Merajuddin, Jameeluddin, Shahid and Fazal Haleem. The details of the people residing in these properties, the area of the property and the price have been sought, informed official sources. “After investigation, the process of vacating and declaring enemy property will be started by giving notice to the occupants,” official sources said and added, “These properties including House No: 105/646, 105/647, 105/648, 105/649, 105/650 and 105/651 are located in Fahimabad area of the city.”
