Kanpur: Kiran Kushwaha made Kanpur proud by securing second position in the class X UP board results declared on Saturday. Kiran, a resident of Khadepur in Naubasta area of the city, secured 97.5 percent marks. She is a student of Shivaji Inter College, Arra.
Daughter of a pick-up driver, Kiran asipres to become an IAS officer. “I wish to be a IAS officer in my life. I am very happy with my result. I was confident of doing well. This result could be achieved due to continuous support of my parents, family, school teachers and principal sir”, said Kiran while talking to TOI.
When asked what was her schedule for studying, Kiran said that she used to study for three-four after school which helped her in securing good marks. On being asked about her parents education, Kiran said that her father Sanjay Kushwaha is a class X passout and her mother Roma Devi hasn’t studied at all.
When TOI asked who motivated her to study and achieve the goal, Kiran said that her school teachers motivated her and her parents gave all needed support. “I am grateful to my parents and teachers. I wish to work in the same way in future also”, she said.
