Csjmu Cancels Exams In Six Colleges Due To Irregularities | Kanpur News


Kanpur: The CSJM university exams which were to be held in the first shift of the day were cancelled in six degree colleges due to irregularities. Now these exams will be held in new examination centres on May 18.
CSJM university authorities on Saturday said they are committed to conduct free and fair exams and for this they always keep a check on irregularities. It was in this context that the exams which were to be held in the first shift of the day in six degree colleges were cancelled.
The university authorities had to cancel the exams after they received complaints of mass cheating and copying and other irregularities, said a source in the university.
Examination controller Anjani Kumar Mishra said the students will now write their today’s paper at the new exam centres on May 18.
The degree colleges where the exam has been cancelled are: Prakash Mahavidyalaya (Hardoi), Shri Ramlal Singh Mahavidyalaya (Hardoi), Shri Bhagat Singh Mahavidyalaya, (Hardoi), Ram Samujh Gurukul Mahavidyalaya (Unnao), Dayanand Dinanath Institute of Technology (Unnao), Ramkrishna Vidyavati Mahavidyalaya (Unnao).
The university informed that the exam cancelled at the exam centres in Hardoi would now be held on May 18 at Ashok Mahavidyalaya while the exam in Unnao would be conducted at Harivansh Rai Bachchan Mahavidyalaya.
The exams for regular students began on May 12.
