Kanpur: The city students succeeded with flying colours in class X and XII CBSE exams, the results of which were declared on Friday.
Jyotsna Mishra of Class XII of Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre of the city grabbed the second position (in Prayagraj region) with 496 marks out of 500 while Pragati Agrawal of Academic Global school, Gorakhpur topped in the region scoring 497 marks.
In class X CBSE results, four students— Divya Vishwakarma (Mariampur Senior Secondary School), Yati Katiyar (DPS, Kalyanpur), Sansthita Biswas (DPS, Azad Nagar) and Stuti Jadaun (Shree Sanatan Dharam Education Centre, Kaushalpuri) shared the third position in the Prayagraj region with a score of 495.
While talking to TOI, Jyotsna said, “I am satisfied with my exam performance and my marks are beyond expectations.” While giving tips to her juniors, she said that consistency is important while studying. “I used to study for five hours a day consistently,” she said. Jyotsna’s father Prabhat Mishra is a bank employee and mother Dr Anjali Mishra is a teacher.
Similarly, Stuti Jadaun, who shares third spot in class X results, was elated with her results. Talking to TOI, Stuti said, “I was expecting 99.6%, however, I am happy with my marks (99 %). I have opted for science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) but I wish to crack CLAT after class XII and become a lawyer.” She prefers attending offline classes. Her mother Sadhna Singh Jadaun works in Small Arms Factory. Yati Katiyar, another student who made the city proud, wants to become doctor like her father Dr Indira Vikram Katiyar. Her mother Sadhna Katiyar is a government teacher. She said that she does not have an account on social media and said that offline studies are better than online classes. “There is no pleasure in studying via online modes of classroom. I am happy that offline classes are taking place”, Yati said adding that she was expecting 97% and her result was beyond her expectations.Sansthita Biswas, one of the class X toppers, said that she used to study for six-seven hours every day and solving CBSE’s sample papers helped her a lot exams. “I aspire to be a doctor and I have already opted for Biology”, said Sansthita, a resident of Tilak Nagar. She further said that she wishes to be a medical professional. On being asked about her presence on social media, Sansthita said that she hardly gets time for social media. “In fact, I don’t have an account on any social media platform,” she added. Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre Shyamnagar once again demonstrated exceptionally well in CBSE class XII results declared today. The toppers are, Vaishanvi Singh Gaur (Science Stream) – 96.8% and Akriti Arora (Commerce Stream) 94.6%. Nearly, 16 students of the Centre secured more than 90 % marks in Science stream, while 7 students secured more than 90% marks in Commerce stream.
Similarly, the students of class X of Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre Shyamnagar have also got good rankings in the results declared today.Tarun Yadav and Khushi Srivastava secured 98.40%.
