Class I Girl’s Letter To Pm Aboutcostlier Pencil, Maggi Goes Viral | Kanpur News

Kanpur: A letter written by a class I student to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the ‘hardship’ she is facing due to price rise has gone viral.
Six-year-old Kriti Dubey of Chhibramau town of Kannauj district writes in her letter, which is in Hindi and addressed to the ‘pradhan mantri’ (PM) : “My name is Kriti Dubey. I study in class 1. Modi ji, you have caused immense price rise. Even my pencil and rubber (eraser) have got costlier and the price of Maggi has been increased, too. Now my mother beats me for asking for a pencil. What shall I do? Other kids steal my pencil.” The letter which has gone viral on social media has been posted to the PM, confirms her father Vishal Dubey, who is an advocate. “It’s my daughter’s `Mann Ki Baat’. She got annoyed recently when her mother scolded her when she lost her pencil in school,” he said.
Chhibramau SDM Ashok Kumar told TOI that he came to know about this little girl’s letter through social media platforms.
“Under personal capacity, at this point of time, I am ready to help the child in any way, besides will try my best ensure that her letter reaches responsible authorities,” the SDM added.
