13 Health Wellness Centres Selected For Kayakalp Award | Kanpur News


Kanpur: As many as thirteen Health Wellness Centres of the district have been selected for the Kayakalp Award for 20-21-22.
Bithoor Health Wellness Centre Primary Health Centre stood at number one among them. All these centres have obtained more than 70 percent points in external and internal assessment. Each centre will get a reward of Rs 2 lakh. Bithoor PHC obtaining 87.2 points will get a reward of Rs 2 lakh. Under the urban sector, PHC Kalyanpur got the first place, said chief medical officer Dr Nepal Singh.
Health & Wellness Centre Banda got the first rank and would get Rs one lakh as prize money. As many as 7 primary health centres, two Health & Wellness Centres and four urban health centres have been selected for the Kayakalp award, the CMO informed. Greeting the superintendents and staff of award winning health units, the CMO said that they would perform better in the coming time. District quality consultant Arif Beg said PHCs Panki, Mandhana, Bhauti, Narwal, Hathipur and Amaur will get a consolation prize of Rs 50,000 each. Similarly, two Health & Wellness Centres have also been selected for the Kayakalp Award. Banda centre getting the first rank would get Rs one lakh as prize while Bariyanpurwa centre getting Rs 50,000 as it stood at the second place.
Four unban PHCs have been selected for the Kayakalp Award. PHC Kalyanpur Purani got the first place with 83.35 points. It would receive prize money of Rs 2 lakh, PHC Dheerpurwa which got the second place would be rewarded with Rs 1.5 lakh while PHCs Gwaltoli and Benajhabar will get consolation prizes of Rs 50,000 each, Beg added.
